Beats, Beards & Brews

Lifelong friends unite to review music, give beard advice and drink beer.

Apr 29, 2021

Dan's got the devil in him, Eric discusses boxer brief pouch strategies, and Evan's head flies right off the top of his head in another action-packed episode of Beats, Beards & Brews. For the music portion of the pod, the boys review Cursed Be Thy Kingdom, the third studio album from blackened speed metal band Bewitcher, hailing from Portland, Oregon, and worshiping Satan. Dan also lays the foundation for a new genre of metal — Onyx Metal. Keep an eye out at your local record store.

Bewitcher songs previewed on this episode include:

  1. Electric Phantoms
  2. Mystifier (White Night City)
  3. Metal Burner

Next up the boys talk underwear — boxer briefs specifically — though fashionista Dan also predicts a return of tighty whities. It must be the devil and his prophecies at work. Dan and Eric share their thoughts on a number of underwear brands — including one with secret pockets and two others with support pouches.

The boys close things down with reviews of two "big" beers — Big Doinks from Fair State Brewing Co-op and Big Luau from 515 Brewing Company.

"Doinks away!" As the kids would say.
